From thursday the 17th to sunday the 20th the second tourstop of the German Championships took place in Holnis/Flensburg. Since there wasn’t any wind in Damp two weeks before we were happy to start the competition with 20-25 knots. Unluckily my first heat wasn’t as good as expected. So I lost this heat at the very beginning of the single elimination.
The next day was windy again. Not expecting too much I went out just for fun. Half an hour later the double elimination started and I could climb up 7 heats riding my 10 until facing Nils Wesch. After nearly 4 hours of riding I almost wasn’t able to edge anymore. In the end I took third place. What a great day!!
